The issue of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru announcing releases of the same day, moving them to a two-day gap, then again considering release of the same day, and then sticking to the changed dates-is a known thing. And now, by claiming’ industry hit ‘ status, the films are waging war too. For these two films ‘ two star characters, and for their producers, here’s a lesson they should be “seriously” learning.
The upcoming film “Lal Singh Chaddha,” starring Superstar Aamir Khan, was set for release on December 25, 2020. Though the release is still nearly a year away, they are strictly following the release dates in Bollywood and sticking to huge promotions about the same.
But surprisingly, the same date was also set for another Superstar, Akshay Kumar’s “Bachchan Pandey.” Knowing the need for a solo release, Aamir Khan has called Akshay Kumar to address the same after which Akshay moved the release of his film to January 2021.
“Thank you to my friends Akshay Kumar & Sajid Nadiadwala for their warm gesture of moving the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey to my request. I wish them all the best for their film. Looking forward to it,” Aamir tweeted today, to whom Akshay replied’ Thank you.’
Also Tollywood was expecting similar things from Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu when the two movies clashed on the date. Never the two talked about it, and Mahesh Babu did not even wish Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo any luck when Allu Arjun was listed in his speech. Shouldn’t the two star heroes and their producers learn the need for resolution through dialogue, from Aamir and Akshay?
